German company removed from "black list" of Foreign Ministry
The names of the German company Karl Storz and its manager for Armenia and Georgia Merab Mgaloblishvili have been removed from the list of undesirable persons of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the ministry’s press service told APA, AzVisiopn.az reports.

Stefan Dubnak, an official representative of the German company Karl Storz, which produces and sells equipment and other products used in medical and industrial fields, has sent an official letter to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, asking to remove the name of the company he represents from “the list of foreign individuals, legal entities, organizations engaging in economic or other activities in Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia” and the name of the company’s manager for Armenia and Georgia Merab Mgaloblishvili from “the list of foreigners who have made an illegal visit to the occupied Azerbaijani territories”.

Dubnak in his letter apologizes on behalf of Mgaloblishvili for the latter’s visit to the occupied Azerbaijani territories without the permission from the relevant structures of Azerbaijan.

He also touched upon the UN Security Council’s known resolutions, expressing respect for the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and internationally-recognized borders of Azerbaijan and condemning Armenia’s occupation of Azerbaijani territories.

Dubnak went on to express regret for the company’s involvement in illegal activities and Mgaloblishvili’s illegal visit, assuring that the company has already ceased all of its activities in those territories. He also undertakes to never again allow any such offences in future.

In addition, Mgaloblishvili too has sent an official letter as required by the Azerbaijani side.

The appeals by “Karl Storz” and Mgaloblishvili were considered and it was decided to remove their names from the stated lists.
